

hi trixie! you were always better at icons than me
I find it really hard to work on a 100px by 100px teeny weeny canvas. these two icons are really fabulous, esp. the second. I like how the hair of the model extends into the polka dot background and how a cropped picture of her is placed in the bottom right hand corner to add an element of interest. The lighting and strong contrast of black and white on the face also works really well.
As for the first, I love the colour combination, the feel of the sand but the sunflowers don’t really work for me. I guess the clean strong lines of the frame would stand out even more without it. Nevertheless, well done!
